As I was preparing my YW lesson tonight I read this and loved it:
"A home that is orderly and well cared for and which invites the Spirit of the Lord builds confidence and pride in the people who live there."
-YW manual 1, lesson 7.
I went to an Auxiliary Training Meeeting tonight and Bro. Richardson (2nd Counselor in the Sunday School General Presidency) spoke about teaching by the Spirit so the learners can learn by the Spirit. He pointed out that to do this we need to live in a way in which the Spirit can be with us and we need to allow the companionship of the Holy Ghost to be with us. On the way home I was thinking about how I can invite the Spirit more often into my life and allow that companionship to be with me. I thought of the things I need to do better at home, such as personal scripture study and personal prayer. When I read this quote, I felt like it was just what I needed. The things I do at home can invite the Spirit and build confidence in me if I choose to make it so!

Loose tooth!
2/25/12
This morning Kyler came into my room and said, "Mama, I FINALLY have my first loose tooth!"
His bottom front permanent teeth came in behind the baby ones a while ago but his babies have refussed to go! We keep reminding him to work on them to get them out so the permanent ones can come forward and it looks like it just might happen, FINALLY!
